There has been a lot of hype and discussion about Xenoblade Chronicles already. Gamers from America are yearning for the slick JRPG, as well as The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower to be released stateside, which has resulted in Operation Rainfall. This initiative aims to get Nintendo’s attention on these games and the demand to see them released. As of now, Nintendo have responded that they will look into the European sales of these games before deciding on releasing them in the United States.

And apparently the game has unexpectedly been selling like crazy. Online shop ShopTo.net has tweeted the following:

Due to the unexpected late demand for Xenoblade Chronicles the publisher has experienced great stock shortages of this title
Additionally, the game is featuring prominently in top selling lists of the French and UK Amazon. And finally, and perhaps most importantly, the game currently has an average score of 91 on metacritc. What do you say about that, Nintendo?
