Nintendo have announced a couple of new additions to its very own budget line of games for Wii, the Nintendo Selects collection. Both Europe and the United States will see new titles, most notably the critically acclaimed Super Mario Galaxy, which will be released in both regions. This will be a great opportunity for those who missed the first chance to reach for the stars with Mario. Europe will also get The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which has already been released under the budget label in North America. The epic action-adventure game is a must-have, certainly at a reduced price.
The States will get a handful of new titles, most of them starring the Italian plumber. Next to the aforementioned Super Mario Galaxy, players will get a chance to play football (soccer) in Mario Strikers Charged, promising hectic matches in both single and multiplayer modes. Super Paper Mario will offer classic RPG gameplay in both flat 2D paper worlds as well as full open-world perspectives. Finally, Nintendo invites players to put on their boxing gloves to take on opponents from all over the world to become the champ. Punch Out!! , based on previous instalments on the NES and Super NES is a colourful and polished game and is sure to appeal to gamers of all ages.
These games will of course be released in the new Nintendo Selects boxes with the red banners, which might not appeal to everyone.
