To quote the movie Poltergeist: They’re here! After a long wait, the free GBA games for 3DS Ambassadors have finally arrived and will be available for download on Friday the 16th of December in the year 2011. In Japan at least. But there’s a high probability that the rest of the world will not have to wait much longer. Nintendo will not let their Ambassadors spend Christmas without their well-deserved games.

Compared with the list of NES games made available earlier, the list of GBA games shows a higher density of classics. And here they are in alphabetical order:

  1. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
  2. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
  3. Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
  4. Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
  5. Mario Kart: Super Circuit
  6. Mario vs. Donkey Kong
  7. Metroid Fusion
  8. Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi’s Island
  9. Wario Land 4
  10. WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames
So, Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Wario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Fire Emblem and F-Zero? That is some line-up. There’s still no definitive list for North America and Europe, but it’s very probable that there won’t be any changes.
